What i really want is something that strips silence and exports the remainder as separate files. using the flex tools etc.Īudiofinder is good for moving things and processing/converting files. then in live it's arranging and micro edits or whatever is going on. Mostly i'm editing, shaping, processing samples. I don't do any mastering ever so that's not a concern. The official list of supported DDP genres is in the File -> Render -> DDP dialog. Triple check all track titles, performer names, ISRC, UPC etc. Use to specify INDEX0 positions and to specify INDEX1 positions. Drag and drop your tracks in, adding markers as you see fit. I use DSP quattro, audiofinder, Live and Logic for editing things in various stages. Use the attached DDP-rev1.RPP to create your DDP file. wish they would've just added some features to wave editor and fixed some bugs. it's a bummer since they are so different.
The previous application from those guys, Wave editor, was way more my speed and it is missing some handy features and has a few bugs they never fixed because wave editor became triumph. it makes no sense to me and for doing batch edits of samples or making quick edits to grab bits of files it is just the wrong choice for that kind of thing.

I have triumph and never use it and would sell it if he allowed license transfers. Doesn't have to have SMPTE Sync, but having a SMPTE as a time display option is very nice for some of my video SFX work. On second though, maybe this IS a requirement.Ħ. Not 100% required, but Triumph does non-destructive editing, which is VERY nice when you come back to a project and need to make a change. Good plug-in support ( mastering capabilities )ĥ. This is seriously starting to annoy me as I'm having to save almost EVERY edit to avoid losing stuff.Ģ. Once I got my head around the way it worked, I rather like it, but I'm having major stability problems that haven't been addressed yet. I paid for the upgrade - which was to include multi-track recording, approx one week before the company shut down - so I never got what I paid for! Not good. However, the option to launch a Control Window disappears from the main menu when working in Audio File mode.My copy of Bias Peak finally died. One further workspace type – Control Window – saves and recalls layouts from the software’s comprehensive range of metering, analysis and metadata panels. There’s some sense to this, but it isn’t the tidiest approach. While each of these modes appear to operate independently, certain features such as the Master Section remain linked. There are four editing modes – audio file, audio montage, batch processing and podcast – and each has its own set of workspaces. It could be more streamlined, though, with numerous mouse clicks required to recall a workspace. Panels slide across the screen to make room as you drag others around, and there are numerous shortcuts for arranging them neatly.Ī new Workspaces feature lets you save and recall panel layouts. The tabbed docking-panel approach has been done many times before, but this implementation is particularly impressive.
Our main criticism with the previous version was its clunky, dated interface, so we’re happy to see a thorough redesign this time around.
